The Formula

Fleet Load Factor
Load factor % = (Loaded capacity ÷ Available capacity) × 100

Scenario: Loaded 36,000 lb of 40,000 lb available capacity.
Step 1: 36000 ÷ 40000 = 0.9
Step 2: × 100 = 90%
Answer: Fleet load factor is 90%.
