Accuracy Policy

We aim for mathematically correct results on every supported input. When something is wrong, we want to know.

Testing standards

  • Unit tests on core calculator functions where applicable
  • Manual spot checks against textbook and spreadsheet results
  • Review of rounding behavior and display precision

Known limitations

Floating-point arithmetic can produce tiny display differences at extreme values. Each page documents assumptions (e.g., simple vs compound interest) in context.

Report an error

Email [email protected] with the calculator URL, inputs you used, expected vs actual result, and screenshots if helpful. We investigate and publish corrections on our content updates log when needed.
